Obituary of Guadalupe Santos Gutierrez

Guadalupe Santos Gutierrez, 67, of Zion, IL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, Illinois. She was born April 2, 1947, in Brownsville, TX, and was a member of the Lakeshore Tabernacle, Kenosha, WI. Guadalupe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved gardening, flowers, cooking, but most of all, she loved her family and was loved and adored by everybody. Survivors include her husband, Abel Gutierrez Sr., children, Thomas (Feliece) Gutierrez of Gurnee, IL, Diana Gutierrez of Zion, IL, Abel Gutierrez Jr. of Zion, IL, and Adam (Anne) Gutierrez of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Enrique, Lisandra, and Aubrey; mother, Juanita Vallejo of Brownsville, TX; four brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her father, Sabas Vallejo; one sister; and one brother. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Lakeshore Tabernacle, 8900 34th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial donation are suggested to the church.
