Obituary of Alice Summers

Alice Summers, 87, of Waukegan, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Alice was born July 12, 1927, in International Falls, Minnesota. She loved to travel , fish and camp. Alice is survived by her children, Sandra Lampien of Sun City Central, Florida, Diane Summers of Tampa, Florida, and Larry Summers of Racine, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Beth (Rob) Taskett, and Gary and Cindy Lampien; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband Rufus “Russ” ; parents, Alfred and Dinah St. Pierre; eleven siblings; son-in-law, Charles “Al” Lampien; and long time companion, Ron Engel. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL.
