Obituary of Michael B. Hough

Michael B. Hough, 68, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, went to be with Jesus peacefully at home on Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born January 26, 1947, in Zion, IL, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1965. Mike married Jean Langland on May 29, 1971, in Eau Claire, WI. He served with the United States Army in Vietnam as a medic. After moving back to the Zion area, he owned his own company, Woodcraft Construction for 20 years. He also held management positions for construction and engineering companies and most recently was employed as an instructor of the trades at Human Capital Development Corp., in Racine, WI. His favorite hobby was motorcycling and developing innovative construction products. Mike's greatest love is for God and family. He had a passion for sharing and teaching the truth of God's grace and love. Mike &Jean attended church at Triumphant Grace Ministries in Kenosha, WI. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jean; children, Darcey (Christopher) Visocnik, Becky (Phillip) Huckeby , Jessica Hough, and Megan (Bray) Grundy, of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Chloe Grundy, Brennan Huckeby, Owen Visocnik, Levi Visocnik, Brielle Huckeby and Wesley Grundy; sister, Nancy Hough of Pleasant Prairie, WI; brother, Timothy (Carmyn) Hough of Bristol, WI; brother, Donald (Marilyn) Hough of Hayward, WI; sister, Cindy (Greg) Beem of Pleasant Prairie, WI; brother-in-law Gordy (Nina) Langland of Warrens, WI; many nieces, nephews and good friends Marty &David Lloyd. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elaine Hough; in-laws Gordon and Elaine Langland; many relatives and good friend, Bob Kirk. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015. Visitation will be between 9:00-11:00 a.m, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m at Living Light Christian Church, 6102 39thAve., Kenosha, WI.
