Obituary of Marianne Ricks

Marianne Ricks, 78, of Waukegan, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, surrounded by her family at home. She was born June 15, 1937, in Chicago, IL, and married Albert Ricks on May 17, 1980, in Waukegan. Marianne belonged to the FOP #66 Women’s Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Albert; daughter, Kathy (Bruce) Rebello of Ledyard, CT; grandchildren, Christy Tate, Bruce Rebello Jr., Marianne (Anthony Ambrose Sr.) Cabell, Britney Rebello, Anthony Ferro, and Sarah Ferro; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two nieces in Florida; two nieces in Illinois; a nephew in Wisconsin; and her beloved dog, Gypsy. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Laura Ann Ferro and Kimberly Ferro; and a grandsone Joshua Tate. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 , from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan, Rd., Zion, IL. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, September 28, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL.
