Obituary of Cindy Reiman

Cindy Reiman, 57, of Waukegan, IL, and formerly of Murphysboro, IL, passed away September 28, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cindy was born September 5, 1958 in Libertyville, Illinois and was a graduate of Libertyville High School and Patricia Stevens College in Milwaukee, WI. Cindy married Gary Reiman in Murphysboro, IL. She worked in a variety of positions in the legal and business communities, as well as domestically as a nanny and caregiver. She was most recently employed at Walmart in Vernon Hills, IL. In all her endeavors, her kind and compassionate approach to life inspired her family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Cindy is survived by her step-sons, Chris Reiman and Shaun (Karen) Reiman; mother Charla Henkel; brothers Arthur (Barb) Henkel, and Charles (Laura) Henkel; nephews and nieces Jason and Matthew Henkel, and Stefanie, Jeremey, and Natalee Henkel; cousin Bruce Henkel; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Reiman; and her father Frederick Henkel. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Gurnee American Legion, 749 Milwaukee Ave, Gurnee, IL.
