Obituary of Sueko Jordan

Sueko Jordan (nee Nakamura), 81, of Grayslake, IL passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side on February 2, 2016. Sueko was born October 10, 1934 in Nagasaki, Japan, she was a devoted member of Soka Gakkai International. Sueko retired from Abbott Laboratories in 1992. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She is survived by her children Theresa Rivera of Kenosha, WI and Ray (Amy) Jordan of Winthrop Harbor, IL; grandchildren Phoebe (Joe) Gunderson of Milwaukee, WI, Rachel Rivera of Kenosha, WI, Nicole Rivera of Kenosha, WI, Geoffrey Jordan of Winthrop Harbor, and Kenna Jordan of Winthrop Harbor, IL; great-grandchildren Nalani, Celiz, Laila, Ismael, and J.J.; sister Yoshiko Campbell of Oklahoma City, OK; and a brother Takanori Nakamura of Japan. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Trao and Fusae Nakamura. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2015 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Interment will be private for the family at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville.
