Obituary of Edward W. Ridgway Jr.

Edward W. Ridgway Jr., “Eddie”, 66, of Waukegan, IL died on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at home. Eddie was born October 10, 1949 in Ft. Wayne, IN and lived in this area most of his life. He retired as a journeyman Pipe Fitter from Local 597, Chicago. Eddie enjoyed restoring classic cars and had a great sense of humor. Survivors include his mother Dorothy Ridgway of Zion, IL; sister Nancy (Chet) Splitt of Beach Park, IL; nephews Bill (Lydia) Splitt of Trevor, WI and their two children Tyffani and Tyler, and Ryan Splitt of Chicago, IL. The family would like to thank Dr. Duran of Lake County Health Department for her care. He was preceded in death by his father Edward W. Ridgway Sr. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016, from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A graveside service will be held at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Remember Eddie in your prayers.
