Obituary of Magdalena Perez

Magdalena Perez, 80, of Lindenhurst, IL died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Warren Barr Nursing Home in Lincolnshire, IL. Magdalena was born November 25, 1935 in Germany. Survivors include her son, James Perez; daughter, Jessie Schwartz; grandchildren, Frances Hjelmeseth, Ashely (fiancé Jeff Stevenson) Perez, and Alexis Perez; great-grandchildren, Aiden Perez-Stevenson, Brooklyn Perez, Cassidy Talbit-McMurray, Felicity Hjelmeseth, and Serenidy Hjelmeseth; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Perez; and her parents. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private for the family.
