Obituary of Antoni Garcia

Antoni "Tony" Garcia, 30, of Beach Park, IL died August 18, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Tony was born December 1, 1985 in Milwaukee, WI and was raised in the Lake County, IL area. He graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 2004 and was currently working at Ralph Lauren. He enjoyed music, playing his guitars, his motorcycles, working on motorcycles and spending time with his family & friends. He was free spirited, inspiring, and lit up any room he walked into. He had a contagious smile and an awesome laugh. He had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to his Jade plants and garden. Survivors include his mother, Carmen Garcia (Barry Mateus); brother, Jacob Peters; grandparents, Nancy and Hector Garcia, Cecilia Delgado, and Maria Carmen Hernandez; girlfriend, Lexi Lond; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Hernandez; and grandfather, Mario Hernandez. A visitation will take place Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Lakeview Church, 1821 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Friends and family may gather at the church on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 for a procession to the interment service at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, leaving at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family have been suggested.
