Obituary of Jeffrey Scott LaLond

Jeffrey Scott LaLond, 46, of Winthrop Harbor, journeyed home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2017. Jeff was born February 23, 1970, in Waukegan, to Mike and Pat LaLond. He worked as a chemical operator for 25 years, most recently at Ivanhoe Industries, in Zion. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, a brother, Michael LaLond (Betty); sister, Michelle McCann (John); seven children, Tasha, Anthony, Devon, Destiny, Conner, Peter and Maggie; four grandchildren, Justine, Leah, Niyya and Cara, grandmother Edna Myers and many other loving family members and friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 10:00 until 12:00 p.m., at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
