Obituary of Shawn Hoff

Shawn Hoff, 42, of Waukegan, IL died on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Shawn was born April 25, 1974 in Waukegan, IL. He was an avid hunter, motorcyclist, and he enjoyed all kinds of motor sports including dirt bikes, snowmobiles, boats, jet ski’s and atv’s. Shawn was a friend to all. His personality and smile always lit up a room. He was helpful to everyone and loved by so many. Survivors include his loving wife, Maureen (nee Meenan) Hoff; beloved children Conor, Hunter, Kyle, and Casey; cherished granddaughter Miya; his father Leonard; sisters Traci, Stefanie, and Trisha; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Hoff; stepmother Liz Booth; and nephew C. J. McGill. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2017, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
