Obituary of Susie Patton

Susie Patton (nee Brown), 59, of Zion, IL died Friday, April 14, 2017 at home. She was born July 27, 1957 in Libertyville, IL. Susie grew up in Waukegan, IL and graduated from Waukegan High School. She married Keith Patton on April 14, 1989, exactly 28 years ago. For most of her career, Susie worked as a paralegal in the Lake County Area. Her family was the most important to her, but also cared, loved, and was generous to everyone she knew and met. Survivors include her husband, Keith; children, Kellie (Jeremy) Roberts, Kristen (David) Rich, and Austen Patton; grandchildren, Annabella, Jacob, Leela, Brayden, and Ethan; siblings, Sheri (James) Ramos, Tammy (Gary) Heitschel, Darlene Fuente, Mark Brown, and Linda (Mike) Parker; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances Brown; and siblings, Timothy and Sally Brown. A visitation will take place Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will take place at Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Rd. Libertyville, IL.
