Obituary of Robert Henry Burns

Robert “Bob” Henry  Burns, of Beach Park, IL passed away October 10, 2017.

Bob was a Vietnam Veteran having served his country with the United States Navy.  He was a kind hearted man and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  Bob was a great guy who will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Colleen; daughter Lindsay Burns; mother, Marilyn Mae Burns; siblings, Belinda Jalilpour, Debra (Michael) Jeske, Steven H. (Voula) Burns, and Kelly (Joseph) Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews; his beloved dogs, Axel and Coco; and cat Mickey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Frank Burns.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.  In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Safe Harbor Humane Society 7811 60th Ave. Kenosha, WI 53142, Save-A-Pet Inc. 31664 N.
