Obituary of Georgia M. Allen

Georgia M. Allen, age 85, of Zion, IL, passed away on January 14, 2018 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Hazard, KY on May 4, 1932, the daughter of the late George B. And Hettie Cornett Brown.  She was educated in the schools of Lake County.

Georgia enjoyed crocheting, crafts and going fishing with her family.

Surviving Georgia is her four daughters: Dawana Grube, JoAnn (Patrick) Gallagher, Debra (Richard) Burton and Donna (Abel) Villalobos, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, one sister Mary (Don) Roberts and 3 step children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen, one daughter, Cindy Lou, one grandaughter, Tina Villalobos, one grandson Martin Villalobos, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

A private service was held in her name.  The Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL is assisting the family.
