Paul Miller

Obituary of Paul C. Miller

Paul C. Miller, 50, of Kenosha, WI, was called home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2018 after an extended illness.  He was born in Waukegan, IL on April 14, 1967 to Joseph E. Miller and Glenna M. (Grubbs) Miller. On July 5, 1986,  Paul married his beautiful Tennessee belle - the love of his life - Pamela Lahoma Wollard. More than anything he delighted in and adored his family.  Paul was an ordained Minister of Music and an incredibly gifted singer and musician whose talent became obvious at an early age.  Southern Gospel was the genre he loved, and he released several CDs.  He was a friend and huge fan of Dottie Rambo, who recognized his talent and called him up to join a stage performance with her - a highlight of his career.  A steadfast Christian who touched many lives, Paul had a generous and selfless heart and always managed to uplift those around him.  He compiled a remarkable extended family photo/video archive and created memorable personalized videos for many family members for their special occasions.  Paul and Pam graciously opened their lovely home to family and friends each Christmas season for over 24 years to celebrate God’s blessings with delightful banquets and incomparable live entertainment.  Paul is survived by Pamela; their loving daughter, Cierra Mae Nicole (Jason) Reif; their two loving sons, Paul Curtis Lee Miller and Jordan Tyler Miller; adored grandchildren, AuJohn J. T. Miller, and Peyton A. Miller; and his beloved mother Glenna Mae Miller.  He also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.  Waiting to greet him in Heaven are father, Joseph and a host of other dearly beloved family members and friends.  Before his health declined Paul worked in finance and information technology at Great Lakes Naval Training Center for more than 20 years.  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Spirit of Life Church, 1222 Lorelei Drive, Zion, IL.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Phyllis Miller, officiating.  Burial will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
