Obituary of Terry L. Kennedy

Terry L. Kennedy, age 63, of Winthrop Harbor, Il, passed away on February 5, 2018 at Vista East Medical Center.

She was born in Waukegan, IL on December 26, 1954, the daughter of the late Gerald and Grace Townsend Kennedy.

Terry graduated from Zion Benton High School and earned a Bachelor Degree from Northern Illinois University.  She was employed by Cherry Electric for over 30 years. She was an avid reader, loved traveling and spending time with her pets.  Terry was a founding member of the Well Church in Kenosha, WI 

Surviving Terry are her siblings; Geraldine Gray, Sherry Kennedy, Mary (Jerry) Powles and sister in-law Penny Erickson, nieces; Angela (Harold), Heather, Lauren (Lee) and Kristina, nephews; Derreck Gray and Joshua Trice, the nephew she loved like a son “Josh”, great nieces and nephews; Jared, Jordan, Justin, Brianna, Alexis, Makenzie, Kayden, Caleb, Kayla, Shaynna and Matthew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Steven Kennedy, niece Hannah Kennedy and nephew Jake Trice.

A visitation will be held at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m.. Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Memorial park Chapel on Wednesday February 14th at 10:00 a.m.. Please meet at the Chapel.
