Albert Holt

Albert "Bob" Holt, 84, of Beach Park, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the North Chicago Veterans Hospital. He was born July 27, 1925 in Bicknell, Indiana. He served in World War II with General Pattons 5th Army from 1943 to 1946. Albert was also a 50 year member of Berwyn Masonic Lodge #539 A.F & A.M. as well as being a member of Scottish Rite and Shriners. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Floyd and Nell Holt; his brother, Floyd Holt; and his son, Wayne Albert Holt. Services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Rev. Kevin Bergeson officiating. Private interment will be held later at Chapel Hills Garden South, Worth, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday, October 30th, from 9:00 until time of services at the funeral home.
