Marlo Marie Bjurman, 50, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL.
Marlo was born October 12, 1971 in Elgin, IL. She graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School with the class of 1989. She resided in Mississippi from 1993 until 2010 where she worked at Belmont Homes and Bushwhacker Hair Salon. Marlo married Randy Bjurman on May 5, 2012 in Zion. Marlo’s passion was making home cooked meals and taking care of her sons and fur babies. Her cooking was good enough to compete on Master Chef.
Marlo is survived by her husband, Randy; sons, Marcus (Kaylee) Rose and Thomas Rose; step-sons Nicholas (Cindy) Bjurman, Michael Bjurman; and step-daughter, Colise Bjurman; mother, Dorothy Ester; brother, Timothy Ester; sister, Ruthie (Wayne) Wenzel; nieces, Peace Wenzel and Miranda (Keegan) Rablehofer; and great-nephew, Lucas.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 18 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow.
