Muriel Hough, 88, of Kansasville, WI, formerly of Zion, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at her home. Muriel was born February 24, 1920 in Monroe County, MS and came to Zion at the age of 20. She was a longtime member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Zion where she was involved in various circles and activities. She was also active in the Bonnie Brook Fire Department Women's auxiliary. Survivors include her daughters, Gloria (the late Robert) May of Phoenix, AZ, Carolyn Sue (the late Jim) Claxton of Paris, TN, and Peggy (Dale) Kerkman of Kansasville, WI; five grandchildren, Scott, Beth, Lisa, Rhonda and Brenda; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nellie Baker of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Hough in 1986; and by two infant children, Carol and John. Visitation will be Saturday, December 13, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Cheryl Esbrook of Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations have been suggested to Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington Foundation, 252 McHenry Street, Burlington, WI 53105.
