Victoria M. Savage, 50, of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, died on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at home.
She was born in Arvada, Colorado. She was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church of Beach Park. Victoria received her Masters Degree in Education and has taught at Beach Park Schools for the past 26 years, where she also coached volley ball for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Kenneth L. Savage; children, Daniel L. (Julie) Savage of Winthrop Harbor and Gregory (Christie Smith) Savage of Winthrop Harbor; siblings, Dana Mills, Erick Mills and Kim Webb all of Colorado; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Catherine Savage; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Angela) Savage; sisters-in-law, Susan (Martin) Grana, Patricia (James) Berens, Jean (Steve) Davis and Karen Savage; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Dean and Patricia Mills.
Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2008, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral home with Chaplain Carl Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, Illinois.
