William Hamilton

William Alfred Hamilton, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away March 21, 2024. He was born August 3, 1936 in Waukegan, Illinois to parents Frances and William Hamilton.

Bill graduated from Waukegan Highschool. He married his wife, Rosemary (Rozie) on Februrary 8, 1958. He retired from Waukegan Highschool as a Crew Chief and was a member of the Lake County Derby’s in the 1950's as well as a former Moose Club member in Lake County.

Bill enjoyed entering car shows with their truck, fishing, riding motorcycles with his brothers, spending time in his garage working on various projects, working on his 67' Pontiac Tempest, and spending time with family and friends. Once a month Bill would go to breakfast with his previous coworkers to catch up on things as well as going on road trips with his son-in-law, Steve.

William is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rosemary (Rozie) Hamilton; daughter, Deborah (Steven) Hill; grandson, Alex (Stephanie) Haak; great-grandchildren, Stryker and Coltyn; brothers, Jerry Hamilton, David (Laura) Hamilton, and Steven (Donna) Hamilton; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

William was preceded in death by his parents Frances and William Hamilton.
