Ada Fay Taylor, 89, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Beach Park, IL went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2016.
Ada was born October 30, 1926 in Princeton, IN to William L. and Anna B. Wilson. She married Irvin H. Taylor on December 24, 1949 in Paducah, KY, the family moved to Beach Park in 1958 and Ada later retired to Orlando FL. Ada was a loving wife and mother. She loved to shop, dance and vacation with her daughters.
She is survived by daughters, Sue (Bruce) Wimmer of Waukegan, IL, Nancy (Kelly) McAnally of Orlando, FL, and Mary (Mike) Darrow of Mulberry, FL; grandchildren Shelly (Chris) Carlson, Jeanne (Rocko) Onan, Patrick (Giovanna) McAnally, Kelly (Shane) Clark, Jeffrey (Jessie) Jorgensen, and Kristin (Joe) Szostak, Elizabeth Darrow, Natalie Darrow and Megan (Nick) Green; and great-grandchildren, Taylor McAnally, Conner McAnally, Sarah Clark, Chloe Carlson, Kaitlyn McAnally, Ethan Onan and Lucas Onan. Special thanks and gratitude to daughter Nancy for her loving caregiving.
She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Taylor; father and mother William Levi Wilson and Anna Bell (nee Eickelberger) Wilson; and her brothers Dave and Jack Wilson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private for the family at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Alzheimers Association have been suggested.
