Sunrise January 22.1938 Sunset January 21, 2021 Adam Bill Robertson Sr. 82 of Zion, IL passed away on January 21, 2021 peacefully at Vista East Hospital, Waukegan IL. He was born January 22, 1938 in Grosse Tete, Louisiana to William (Bill) Robertson and Nellie Willis. He retired in Illinois after 30 years from the US Navy being a proud retiree. After his retirement from the US Navy, he went to work for the Great Lakes, Illinois VA Hospital where he also retired. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved bowling, and talking to fellow veterans he loved music, especially Blues. He is survived by his 2 children daughter Melody Robertson, Zion Illinois, son Adam Bill Robertson Jr, Zion, Illinois. A special nephew Christen Duncan, Chicago Illinois. 2 sisters Orabell Johnson, Grosse Tete Louisiana, Nellie Boyd, St. Louis Missouri, 1 brother John Robertson, Grosse Tete, Louisiana. 2 Granddaughters Mariah Robertson, Zion Illinois, and Sarah (Nauvella) Robertson, Zion, Illinois. 2 great granddaughters, Saryah Robertson and Izabella Rose Sifuentes. Several relative’s nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Robertson, parents, 8 brothers Joseph Favron, Thomas Favron, Leaster Martin, Johnson Rogers, James Rogers, Isiah Willis Perkins Rogers, and Hosea Robertson and 3 sisters Mattie Favron, Everleana Rogers and Beatrice Rogers. Due to the current pandemic a memorial service will be held later. On behalf of our family, we would like to thank everyone for your support at this difficult time. We are grateful for family and friends like you at this time of sorrow.
