Alan Robert White

Alan Robert White, 45, loving son of Nancy and William White of Waukegan, IL passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015. Alan was born January 29, 1970 in Zion and graduated from Waukegan West High School in June of 1988. Mr. White faithfully served his country in the United States Navy from 1989 - 1993 where he was deployed on the USS Forrestal before it was decommissioned. Alan leaves behind his mother & father; brother David (Amy) White of Winthrop Harbor, IL; sister Helen (fiancé Todd Alvarez) Adams of Winthrop Harbor, IL; a niece and a nephew; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jack A. Kelly officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Zion.
