She later married Michael Hewitt. He died on Easter of 1975. She lost a son, Michael Tony Liebert on April 27, 1998. She is survived by son, Gary Liebert and wife, Lois; daughter-in-law, Eddie Liebert; daughter, Linda Turner and husband, Phillip Turner; sister, Portia Babnik; she had 11 grandchildren, many many great and great-great-grandchildren along with innumerable nieces, nephews, and extended other relatives. Alsena worked as a Dietitian assistant at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, IL. For a few years, she delivered Meals on Wheels to various people and often laughed because so many of the people were in her age bracket. When there were family "get-to-gethers", singing was often a part of it. She would sing to her children, grandchildren, ect. A gentle soul and yes she will be missed but she knew the Lord Jesus was wanting to "go home" and will be waiting for those who also know Jesus as Saviour.
