Annabelle J. Clark, 81, of Beach Park, IL died on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan.
She was born March 20, 1931 in Pittsville, WI. She and her husband Robert met while working at Komatsu and married in 1975. She was a member of Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ and belonged to Millburn Eastern Star #507. Annabelle was known as the Yahtzee queen and she loved fishing and watching birds.
Survivors include her husband Robert L. Clark; children Ivania (Fred) Morrill, Derald (Anita) Townsend, and Richard Kavis; grandchildren Joby Kavis, Sheri (David) King, and Jeffery (Sara) Morrill; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister Johanna Halbur; and numerous adopted family members with special thanks to Deborah McGregor for being a special care giver and friend to Annabelle for all this time.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter Tina Morrill; siblings Elizabeth Christensen, Evelyn Zimmerman, John Christensen, Iona Bender, and David Christensen; and parents Herman and Margaret Christensen.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Jeb Watson of Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park, Zion.
