Arturo Samano

Arturo Samano Guzman, of Lake Bluff, Illinois passed away January 30, 2025 in Lake Bluff. He was born May 21, 1944 in Guanajuato, Mexico to parents, J. Dolores Samano and Jovita Guzman.

Arturo grew up in Mexico and has also lived in California where he was a field worker, as well as Illinois.

Arturo loved the outdoors. He loved cultivating land, plants, and animals. He also loved antiques and old objects. Arturo enjoyed food and cooking the things he liked. He had a stubborn streak that remained a part of his personality all throughout his life. During his youth, he was a very independent person who liked to stay active and on the go.

Arturo is survived by his son, Arturo Samano; older brothers, Roberto Samano Guzman and Isaias Samano Guzman; several younger siblings; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Dolores Samano and Jovita Guzman; older brother, Luis Samano Guzman; and older sister, Estela Samano.
