Beata S. Kogut, (nee Zabinski), was tragically taken from us on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at St. Catherine's Medical Center, Kenosha, WI.
Beata was born July 4, 1965, in Reading, PA, and was a graduate of Wheeling High School. She was member of Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan and was currently employed by Weiman Products in Gurnee. Beata was an avid sports fan who loved life to the fullest. She was the life of the party and would never turn her back on anyone who needed her.
Survivors include her daughters, Nicole J. Kogut of Zion, IL, Danielle L. (John) Munda of Zion, IL, and Marcella B. Kogut of Zion, IL; grandchild, Jay J. Munda; mother, Wanda Zabinski of McHenry, IL; sisters, Mary (Clifford) Wagner of North Carolina and Wanda (John) Willard of Wadsworth, IL; brothers, Andrew (Vicky) Zabinski of Antioch, IL, Walter (Cindy) Zabinski of McHenry, IL, and Stanley (Barbara) Zabinski of Johnsburg, IL; sister, Elizabeth (Joby) Adamicka and brother, Roman F. Zabinski of North Carolina. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and other family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roman Zabinski; and brother, Richard "Richie" Zabinski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 508 Grand Ave., Waukegan. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Beata Kogut Memorial Fund, FBO the Girls, First Midwest Bank.
