Bennie Dennison

Bennie M. Dennison Sr., 74, of Zion, IL died on Friday, August 26, 2011 at home. He was born May 1, 1937 in Cabell County, WV and moved to Zion in 1968. Survivors include his children Deborah (Richard) Lori of Kenosha, WI, Bennie (Sue) Dennison Jr. of Zion, IL, Rodney (Marlene) Dennison of Malta, IL, and Donna (Efrain) Quintana of Zion, IL; eight grandchildren, Anna, Regina, Rebecca, Tommy, Aurele, Junior, Micheal, and Amanda; 14 great-grandchildren; and his brother-in-law Rick Pauley of Proctorville, OH. He was preceded in death by his wife Deloris; one daughter Theresa Dennison; one sister Lorraina Dennison; and his parents Bennie and Elosie Dennison. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jeffrey Koth officiating and private cremation to follow.
