Bertha Hall

Bertha Hall, 100, of Zion, IL, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion. Bertha was born February 6, 1910, in Dubuque, Iowa, and was a long time member of Grace Missionary Church in Zion, having lived in Zion since 1938. She leaves behind two daughters, Jettie Rose (Robert) Peterson of Zion, IL, and Lynette (David) Linden of Sugar Grove, IL; daughter-in-law, Mary Edge of Zion, eleven grandchildren, Victoria (Donald) Wilson of Gurnee, Pamela (Jack) Brown of Olivet, MI, Andrea (Randy) Whitmore of Wadsworth, IL, John (Jean ) Glenn of Grayslake, IL, Robert (Sue) Edge of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Roseann (Victor) Sinkovitz of Gurnee, IL, Linda Gregorin of Gurnee, IL, Darlene (Brett) Moe of Spring Grove, IL, Barbara (Jim) Kordick of Barrington, IL, Steve (Sarah) Linden of Sugar Grove, IL, Roger Linden of Sugar Grove,Il; two step-grandsons, Jack (Mary) Edwards of Zion and Roger (Jean) Edwards of Bowie, MD; twenty four great-grandchildren, Kim, Todd, and Karissa Birky, Micah (Ashleigh) Brown, Matthew Brown, Mark (Amanda) Brown, Martin Brown, Mitchell (Nicole) Brown; Alyssa, Alanna , and Randall Whitmore; Daniel and Hannah Glenn; Kathleen and Kelly Edge; Dana and Darlene Mann; Carli (Sam) McKenney; Brad and Brian Gregorin; James and Emily Kordick; and John and Mark Linden; two great-great-grandchildren, Jacob Nast and Ezra Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; one brother; and two husbands. Bertha is already missed by all her family. She loved the Lord and all her family. Bertha spent her last years at Rolling Hills Manor and appreciated all the special care and she received while there. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion IL. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
