Betty Jean Thompson

Betty Jean Thompson of Zion, IL. passed away Monday, April 27th, 2020 at the age of 88 at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion. She grew up in Chesterton, Indiana and graduated with a degree in microbiology from Purdue University in 1956. She received a law degree from Loyola University in 1963 and came to Zion to work for Adeline Geo-Karis for the next 15 years. She opened her own law office in Winthrop Harbor in 1979 and retired in 2000. She is survived by her brother, David Thompson. She will be buried next to her parents in the family plot in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, Indiana
