Bob Walton, 53, of Beach Park, IL, died on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, peacefully, with his family by his side at Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, IL. Bob was born October , 25, 1960, in Libertyville, IL, and was a graduate of Bradford High School in Kenosha, WI. He married Kelly Smith on June 22, 1991, in Kenosha. Bob was employed in the printing business, first for NOSCO for 19 years and currently for Colbert Printing in Lake Forest, IL. He was an avid fan of the Bears, Blackhawks, and White Sox. Bob loved the outdoors, especially canoeing. Bob also enjoyed bowling, but mostly having good times with his family and friends. Bob also was a softball coach for his daughters teams in Beach Park. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Kelly, daughters, Jacklyn Barnett of Kenosha, WI, and Brittney Barnett of Beach Park, IL; his beloved granddaughter, Kailyn Rios, who was his "Little Princess", (whom he loved to play, walk, and swim with); one brother; one sister; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and mother-in-law, Janet Smith of Clermont, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carol Walton; and father-in-law, Jack Smith. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd.,Zion, IL .Memorial donations are suggested to Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Rd., Beach Park, IL 60099.
