Bobbie Jean Parello, 79, of Zion, IL died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL.
Jean was born May 11, 1936 in Itawamba, MS and spent her childhood in the southern states until she moved to Zion. After settling in Zion, she raised her family here, and worked numerous jobs including Friend Printing, Abbott Laboratories, Cherry Electric, and her final job as a home care provider. She was strongly active in her Christian belief and was very active in prayer groups with many friends around the country. When she's not praying with friends, you would find Jean reading her bible.
Jean is survived by her son, Bob Dywight (Carrie) Hamilton of Roscoe, IL; 4 grandchildren, Anna Lyn (Christopher) Heath, Bobby Hamilton , Haley Hamilton, and Dain Hamilton; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Leon D. (Faye) Keeton of Lexinton, AL; and many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John W. Hamilton and Joseph Parello; her parents; a sister, Faye Dalton; and a brother, George R. Keeton.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Spirit of Life Pentecostal Church, 1222 Lorelei Dr., Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
