Brenda Ann Armstrong (Fredrickson) was called home to be with God peacefully on Thursday August 6th, 2009 at the age of 56. Brenda was born February 18, 1953 to Morton Fredrickson and Josephine Bellegante. Brenda was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and was an entrepreneur who loved and lived her passions by owning and operating an Antiques Shop most of her life and assisting others however she could. Brenda's strength, determination, and heart are an inspiration and motivating spirit to her family and all who knew her. Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Berto Armstrong Sr.; and children, Carla Armstrong, Angela Borden-Watkins (Bacus) and Berto Armstrong Jr. (Joann) Brenda's family was filled with grandchildren that she dearly loved, Elixis, Christian and Kyle (Britt) Saliana and Jacob (Borden) Tanisha and Xavier (Watkins), Dante and Brenda Marie (Armstrong), and Terrance Spells. Brenda is also survived by her favorite aunts, Betty Fredrickson and Barbara Fiedler; sisters, Denise Krueger (Brad), Liane Smith and Teresa Pasiewicz (Brian); brothers, Joseph (Katie), Abel (Jean) and George Gutierrez; godson, Michael Krueger and godgrandchildren, Kayleen, Kaiden (Tracy Duvall) Andrea, Taylor, Clara, Devyn, and Anthony (Rhonda Morris); her stepmother, Marilyn Fredrickson; hosts of in-laws, Richard Fox (Jewel), Velma Lee (Nelson), Mary Lane, Mary Ellis, Easter Farr and hosts of nieces and nephews, dearest family and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, John and Mary Bellegante and Morton and Francis Fredrickson and cousin Kathy Roberts. Visitation will be held at Condon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion 60099 on Saturday August 15, 2009 from 9:30 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Carl Colb, Internment will follow at Pine View Cemetery, Beach Park IL. Immediately following a gathering with meal will be provided by the loving and kind members of Hillcrest Baptist Church 3030 15th Place, North Chicago IL 60064.
