Brenda Turner

Brenda Turner, Age 65, a resident of Zion, IL most of her life, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 30,2011, at home. Brenda was born March 21, 1946, in Stoddard County, Missouri, and attended Beach Community Church in Beach Park. She was a generous hearted person; a loving sister and Nana. Survivors include her grandson, Kenny Turner Jr. of Zion, brothers, Leoid (Sue) Nunn of Zion, IL, Larry Nunn of Antioch, IL, Paul Nunn of Round Lake Beach, IL, and Rick (Debbie) Nunn of Waukegan, IL; sister, Pauline (Kenny) LaForge of Antioch, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Turner in 1998; grandson, Nicholas Turner in 1995; brother, Harold Nunn; sister, Patricia Gregoria; and father and mother, Ralph and Mary Nunn. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL, with Pastor Karen Brown of Beach Community Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
