Casondra Nadine Tamayo (nee Rendall), 37, of Zion, Illinois passed away January 1, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Casondra was born February 19, 1985 in Waukegan, Illinois.
Casondra married Julio Tamayo on September 21, 2013. She was an insurance specialist at Abbvie Pharmaceuticals. She was baptized and worshipped at Lakeview church in Zion, IL . She was a very loving and inclusive person. The only thing she loved more than dinosaurs was her friends and families. She would invite everyone to her backyard parties where she loved cooking and hosting. When she wasn’t surrounded by her friends, Casondra loved to watch some of her favorite shows, being “My 600 lb. Life”, “Horders”, and “Neighbor wars.”
Casondra is survived by her husband, Julio Cesar Tamayo-Mendoza; daughter, Elena Jade Martinez; parents, Marina Salinas, Dan Salinas, Jeffrey Rendall and Vicky Rendall; sisters, Stephanie Varnett and Jennifer Lawson; brother, Michael Cormican and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Casondra is preceded in death by grandparents Claire Rendall and Wildena Randall; godsons, Collin Cormican and Aiden North and sister, Emily Paige Salinas.
Visitation will take place Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
