Dale P. Gibson

Dale P. "Gibby" Gibson, age 64, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on December 31, 2017 at Froedtert South Campus in Pleasant Prairie, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Zion, IL on July 29, 1953, the son of the late George and Margaret Wilson Gibson.  On April 7, 1973 he married Karen Pirlot at St. Dismas Catholic Church in Waukegan, IL.

Dale was employed by the Zion Nuclear Plant for over 34 years until his retirement in 2014.  He loved fishing and camping and was an avid Packer and White Sox Fan.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Karen of 44 years, his children; Valerie Gibson of Kenosha, Jeremy (Lisa) Gibson of Kenosha and Lindsey Gibson of Kenosha, four grandchildren; Spencer, Anton, Kalynn and Bailey, one brother Mike (Judi) Gibson of Plano, IL and sister Ruth (Frank) DeGunion. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL on Sunday January 7th, 2018 from 12: 00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m..  Interment will be held on Monday January 8th at Mount Olivet Cemetery Chapel at 10:00 a.m..
