Daniel F. Beverly Jr

Daniel F. Beverly, Jr., 85, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 5, 2020. Daniel was born December 4, 1934 in Jenkins, KY. He graduated highschool in 1953 and retired from AMC Chrysler after a successful career. Daniel was a devoted husband and loved his girls. He was passionate about golf and was always up for a challenge. Daniel is survived by his wife, Marcella Beverly; children, Linda Lee of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Brenda Schumacher of Kenosha, WI, and Diana Carroll of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Mindy Jackson, Melissa Aulozzi, Bobby Lee, Hannah Monson, Seth Kroft, Lydia Waggoner, Ashley Weis, Elijah Day and Jared Day; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margie Colyer of Wise, VA, and Pat Dockery of Wise, VA. He was preceded in death by family members, Ida Lawson, Debra Edens, Richard Beverly, Herman Beverly, Jackie Beverly, Daniel Beverly Sr., and Cleo Beverly. Services will be private for the family at this time. Donations in Daniel’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
