David Crooks

David J. Crooks, 63, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Vista Medical Center East. He was born October 27, 1951, in Waukegan, IL, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1969. David retired from the Lake County Health Department in 2009 after 25 years employment as a Purchasing Manager. Survivors include wife Carrie; daughter, Jayme Crooks of Chicago, IL; step-daughter, Christian Laura Johnston of Marengo, IL; mother, Shirley Radcliff; sisters, Shirene (Keith) Rittenhouse and Deborah Crooks, all of Porter, TX; and one niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lynn Crooks. Funeral Services are private for the family.
