David S. Koetz, age 72, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away suddenly on August 18, 2014.
David regularly attended Christ Community Church in Zion, was active in the choir in previous years and volunteered his mechanical abilities when needed. David worked as a Union Plumber for 23 years, then a Union Pipefitter for another 23 years. He enjoyed working with his tools from his basement workshop and helping repair things for other people. You could always count on him to find a solution to a mechanical problem. He was a Mason and belonged to the Shrine Club.
