Delores Jean Roe

Delores Jean Roe, 83, of Waukegan, IL formerly of Charleston, South Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; and San Diego California, passed away on January 13, 2025 in Zion, IL. 

Delores was born on August 14, 1941 in Darlington, South Carolina the daughter of Levin Windham and Thelma Hazel Windham. She graduated from Lamar High School in South Carolina and then married Montell L. Roe Sr. on June 2, 1967. She worked at the Navy Exchange for 30 years starting in South Carolina until retiring from Great Lakes Naval Base in North Chicago, IL. Delores loved her family dearly, and spoiled them any chance she could. She also loved horses. 

Delores is survived by her children; Jerry A. (Linda) Hudson, Angela Noirfalise, Montell L. (Rhonda) Roe Jr., and Shon Roe; grandchildren, Britney D. (Jacob) Koenis, Sean (Kirsten) Hudson, Joshua (Amanda) Hudson, Faythe Hudson, Elijah Hudson, Catherine Roe, Shannon Roe, Shon Roe Jr., and Casey Roe; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Montell L. Roe; parents Levin and Thelma Windham; son-in-law, Royce Noirfalise; and grandson, Jordan Hudson.
