Diane Skorpinski

Diane Skorpinski, 63, of Waukegan, IL, unexpectedly passed away November 5, 2016. Diane graduated from Waukegan High School and College of Lake County. Diane worked in child care for many years and then for Abbott/Abbvie. She loved her doll collection, enjoyed reading, estate and garage sales, and solving sudoku puzzles. She especially loved spending time with her great-niece and great-nephew. Diane is survived by her mother, Charlotte Skorpinski, of Waukegan; father, Frank Skorpinski of Las Vegas; sister, Debbie Graves of Waukegan; niece, Jennie (Mike) Taibl of Kenosha; nephew, Rick Black of Grayslake; great-niece, Lia Ballard and great-nephew, Logan Taibl, who will forever miss their “Grantie”; and step siblings, Randy Skorpinski of Las Vegas; and Patricia Skorpinski of Texas. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Rost; and her grandparents, Ellen Skorpinski, and Joe and Antoinette Shear. Services will be private for the family. Her final resting place will be at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
