Dorothy Beerbower

Dorothy Beerbower, 86, of Waukegan, IL died April 29, 2015 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. Dorothy was born February 3, 1929 in North Chicago, IL. She worked as a bookkeeper at 10th Street Hardware in North Chicago and for an electric company. She married Harold Wayne Beerbower who preceded her in death. Dorothy enjoyed needle pointing beautiful pictures, decorating goose and duck eggs, and making pendants with the eggs. She also loved to collect Precious Moments and music boxes. 　 She is survived by her sister Helen M. Grum of Phoenix, AZ; and Helen’s children Kenneth (Andrea) Grum and his two children David Grum and John Grum, Martin W. Grum, and Janet Carpentieri and her two children Michelle Teff and Nicole Carpentieri; brother-in-law Anthony Stanovnik of Florida and his two children Kathy Newyear, and Karen (Phil) Kolbyluck and her two children Deanna Benard and Kiel Kozecar. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Beerbower; sister Geraldine Stanovnik; brother-in-law William Grum; and parents Helen and Stanley Ciolek. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Fort Sheridan Post Cemetery, Vattner Road, Highland Park, IL.
