Dorothy Ellen Miller

Dorothy Ellen (Welton) Miller born September 23rd 1928 to Harold and Margret Welton of Beach Park, IL. She was married to Ralph Miller of Zion, IL for 66 years. They had four children Patricia (Rick) Nelson, Stephen (Christa) Miller, Mark Miller, and David (Michelle) Miller. She has 14 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Mark; husband Ralph, her parents, all her siblings James Welton, Eloise Daydiff, Arthur Walton, and Frank Welton. Dorothy lived a full life, growing up on the farm. She was in plays in High School which later carried over to her being Herodias in the Zion Passion Play for many years. At the age of 50 she studied for her Illinois Realtor License and enjoyed helping people buy or sell their homes for 20 years. Dorothy (Dot) accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in High School. She would use every opportunity to share her faith. God sent his Angels to carry Mom home on March 26th 2015. In lieu of flowers, Please make memorials to Christ Community Church for Camp Zion. A Memorial will be held on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion, IL. Visitation with the family 3:00 - 4:30, Service 4:30.
