Dursilla Bellomy , 65, of Zion, died Monday, July 24, 2006, at home.
She was born July 10, 1941, in Panther, West Virginia, and married Paul Bellomy on January 31, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois. Dursilla enjoyed bowling and watching her grandchildren participate in sports. She also loved to collect angels.
She is survived by daughters, Karen (Jeff) Ditgen of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Donna (Michael) Blake of Beach Park, IL, and Melinda (Aaron) Lewis of Lockport, New York; grandchildren, Erica and William Lewis, and Scott, Steven, and Samantha Ditgen; a great-granddaughter, Kyleea Lewis; sisters Hessie Mika of Deerfield, IL, Janet Honaker of Evergreen Park, IL; brothers, Harold (Mary Ann) Whitt of Newton, Iowa, and Clarence (Brenda) Whitt Jr. Also surviving are her fianc Teddy Garrison of Zion; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bellomy in 1999; son Duane Bellomy, sister, Anita Blevins; and father and mother Clarence and Vonnie Whitt
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2006, from 5:00-8:00 p.m at the funeral home.
