Edith M. McNabb, 84, formerly of Zion and has been living in a nursing home in Westminster, Colorado for the past three years, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 in Colorado.
Edith, one of seven children, was born in Payette, Idaho on February 9, 1922 to William O. and Mamie McNabb. She had been a member of Christian Assembly of God Church in Zion for many years. She was an employee of Johns-Manville Corporation for forty years. She will be remembered by her family and her many cousins and friends.
Survivors include three sisters Louise (Rev. J. G.) Hall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lois Straight of Westminster, Colorado, and Doris Gordon of Zion; one brother Homer (Theresa) McNabb of Tuscumbia, Alabama; five nieces; four nephews; four great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Claude F. McNabb and Frederick R. McNabb (both killed in World War II), and a young nephew Bobby Hall.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5th, from 12:00 noon until time of services at the Congdon Funeral Home.
