Eleanor Stilke Joyce, 88, of Kenosha, WI died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged in Kenosha, WI.
Eleanor happily lived on BurKaBee Ranch in Zion, IL. She was an entrepreneur who was the creator, designer, and heartbeat of Trophies by BurKaBee. Eleanor was a co-founder and member of Big Z Riding Club. She had a passion for raising horses and dogs.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Karen (Chris) Clements, Shari (Tom) Laffredi, and Ginger (Larry) Hale; grandchildren, Krissy (Jose Resendez) Newborn, JoDee (Eric) Schmid, Tim Laffredi, and Angie (Thomas Buttrick) Laffredi; great-granddaughter, Tessa Schmid; and brother, Howard Farner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Art Stilke; parents, Edward and Clara Farner; and great-grandson, Chadd Green.

A visitation will take place Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will be private for the family at Willow Lawn Cemetery, Vernon Hills, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary, www.furangelsas.com.
