Elizabeth Dusek

Dusek (Holenski), Elizabeth (Betty) J. of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away on September 11, 2024. Born February 6, 1929, in Zion, IL. Betty worked for the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL and Abbott Laboratories where she met the love of her life Robert A. Dusek of Libertyville, IL. They married in 1951 and were blessed with two sons. Betty was a devoted wife and mother. She loved children and ran a home day care facility for many years. Upon retirement, she and Bob lived in Osprey, Florida. In 2015, she moved back to Illinois to spend time with her sons and grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by Robert (Bob) A. Dusek. Her parents Steven & Paula Holenski.

She is survived by her sisters Mary Grigas of Zion, IL and Anne Palmer of Winthrop Harbor, IL. Her sons Randall A. (Nicole) of Grayslake, IL and Robert S. (Jennifer) of Sycamore, IL. Her 7 grandchildren; Cora, Benjamin, Christian, Taylor, Emma, Jack and Alex.

A private family ceremony will take place on Sept. 26th to celebrate her life.
