Ermina Stoll

Ermina “Mina” Stoll, 98, of Waukegan, IL died on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. She was born December 5, 1916 in Duluth, MN and moved to this area with her family at the age of 12. On January 21, 1939 she married Charles L. Stoll of Genoa City, WI at the Gurnee Community Church. She was an avid bowler up to the age of 91 and she also enjoyed ceramics, needlework, making latch hook rugs, and she enjoyed spending time with her family at home. Survivors include her daughter Susan Block of Beach Park, IL; four grandchildren Krystiann (John) Hough of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Joanne (David) McKay of Davenport, FL, David (Caryn) Block of Zion, IL, and Sarah (Mark) Ganser of Hartford, WI; and eight great-grandchildren Danielle and Leighann McKay, and Kailie, Emma, Isaac, Abby, Lauren, and William Block. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Stoll in 1995; her son Charles J. Stoll in 1998; her parents Joseph and Delia Biernat; and two brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2015, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Les Martin of Lakeview Church of Zion officiating. Interment services will be held on Saturday, October 24th, at 10:00 a.m. at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL. Memorial donations to the family have been suggested.
