Esther J. Crider, 92, of Zion, Il, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Aurora Health Care Center in Kenosha, WI.
She was born in 1923 in Zion, and married Bryan J. Crider in September of 1945. Esther was a member of Christ Community Church in Zion and had been formerly employed by Abbott Laboratories, Warwick Electronics and Johnson Motors.
She was a loving, caring person who found good in everyone. She made friends easily wherever she went. Her family was the greatest joy of her life. She enjoyed sports including softball, bowling, golf and swimming. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was an angel among us, as well as a mother on loan from God. Her spirit is still with us and we know we’ll be together again on that glorious day in our heavenly home.
Survivors include three sons, Jeff (Monica) Crider of Georgetown, TX, Dan (Melanie) Crider of Victoria, TX and Rick (Jan) Crider of Winthrop Harbor, IL; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; twin sister, Ruth Svendsen of Zion, IL; sister, Billie (Ron) Brever of Park Falls, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
